Humans Turned Animals

No home, no roads, no streets are safe to roam freely. You are not safe in your husband’s protection, not even safe with your father or brother let alone the thought of being safe with a stranger. You are not safe in the daylight, you are not safe as the night approaches and above all this, YOU ARE NOT SAFE WHEN YOU’RE DEAD. What more needs to happen? What justifications you’ll provide with? Who will you blame? The victim, the time or WHAT?
It isn’t about now this vice of sexual abuse have been prevailing in our Islamic Society since forever. Many innocent children and countless women have been a prey of animals over the past decades. But no victim or no witness was brave enough to address it. Or it was honor and respect that has been an obstacle to voice the incident. They were never allowed to talk about it thinking for the fact that it will ruin the honour of the family and bring shame to the victim.
As per now when the situation got worsen and we came across infinite cases over the short span of time, so being an ‘Educated Awam’ and ‘Behtereen Government’ we are now awake from a deep slumber to formulate laws to punish the culprit. And at the end it is going to remain the same as always, there will be no implementation of the great formulated laws.
As far as a formulated law is concerned it holds no importance until its implementation. In our democratic and just state, the culprit escapes even before that is formulated and instead if sympathizing and facilitating the victim our law has loopholes for the culprit. Justice needs to rise above corruption only then it is possible to breathe freely.
Moreover, the major problem is that this issue of sexual abuse is just a matter of trading. The issue trends, laws formulate it shutdowns the public and after some time it starts to happen all over again. This is all that has happened ever since.
Everything apart do whatever, formulate laws, make is social, raise awareness, educate them or give them a reason to think, but nothing, in the end, would be able to change the mentality of sick people. The mentality remains the same. The only option you are left with is to PROTECT YOURSELF. You are the one who can make yourself secure in a society full of HUMANS TURNED ANIMALS!
